Asthma affects more than 25 million people in the United States, including nearly one in thirteen children—with communities of color experiencing higher rates.
At The Butler Foundation Ltd., we believe focused research, education, and advocacy can help us better understand asthma and, one day, eliminate it.
The Asthma Research Fund was created to support leading research that addresses asthma at its roots, improves care, and explores long-term prevention.
As part of this effort, we also offer scholarships for asthma research to help develop the next generation of scientists and healthcare leaders committed to tackling this condition.

We also back initiatives focused on asthma triggers and prevention, especially in vulnerable communities.
Our goal is to reduce hospital visits, improve day-to-day living, and make asthma far less common for future generations.
